Project Overview:

Located in the heart of San Francisco, Makeshift Society is a creative co-working space designed to support freelancers, small businesses, and entrepreneurs. ICON was commissioned to furnish the workspace with flexible seating and functional workstations that align with the collaborative and artistic spirit of the community. The challenge was to create a versatile environment that caters to both solo work and group projects, all while maintaining a unique, creative vibe.

Solutions:

ICON provided a blend of open workstations and cozy lounge areas, offering a mix of seating options to suit different working styles. For collaborative spaces, modular desks and ergonomic chairs were installed to encourage team interaction and flexible layouts. In the relaxation areas, comfortable sofas and soft seating created a welcoming space for casual meetings or creative brainstorming. Each piece of furniture was chosen to reflect the Makeshift Society’s creative and innovative ethos, combining style with practicality to foster an inspiring work environment.
